Connect and troubleshoot Google Ads

Keep sign-in, advertiser permissions, and connection health distinct.

Connect the intended advertiser

Open Settings → Connected accounts, connect the Google login that has access to the advertiser, then choose the advertiser account. Review the account number before reading or preparing changes. Keep manager routing with the connection that supplied it.

Entryway requests Google Ads access separately from basic application sign-in. It does not request YouTube access for advertising.

When access fails

An invalid_grant error means Google rejected the saved authorization. Reconnect Google Ads once with the intended login. Credential rotation or a revoked grant can require reconnection; repeated failures require support investigation. Do not keep rerunning the same failed scan.

A suspended, closed, inaccessible, or otherwise ineligible account can reject operations even after OAuth succeeds. Check the error and Google account status. Some reports and features have independent API eligibility requirements.

After reconnecting, refresh the account and repeat the read-only check. Older evidence may remain tied to its original account connection; a connection change does not silently transfer that evidence to another client.

Disconnect and deletion

Removing the saved connection stops Entryway from using that credential locally. Review your Google Account third-party access separately when you intend to revoke the provider grant itself.

Disconnecting Entryway does not pause ads already running in Google. Workspace deletion and billing cancellation are also separate actions.
